Roses are red, violets are blue…if you don’t check out my tips for having a great Valentine’s Day in Chicagoland I will feel so bad for you! Why? Because I have you covered for the big day of romance, whether it is a family friendly affair or if you are lucky enough to have booked a baby sitter for some kid-free time.
Since winter in Chicagoland is so long and depressing, I like to go ALL OUT for Valentine’s Day so that we have something to look forward to on those dark and dreary days. In this “Valentine’s Day in Chicagoland” guide, I have recommendations for where to find sweets, tips on how to spend time one-on-one with your littlest valentines, unique ways to squeeze romantic dates into your busy schedule, as well as ways to share love with those who need it the most.
Just keep in mind that you don’t need big presents on Valentine’s Day–you simply need to BE present. And if you don’t want to show up empty handed, I have some ideas for you.
