Visit nearby botanic gardens and arboretums to see how the change in season affects all things in nature—the trees, plants, ponds, animals, and more! And don’t miss the amazing colorful chairs at Cantigny Park either!

I can’t wait to get outdoors and start gardening. My flower beds are a mess and they need to be cleaned out and I need to head to the nursery to check out new flowers and plants.

Funny story – we took our youngest to a Butterfly Conservatory for the first time and she couldn’t handle it! All those butterflies flying around her, landing in her hair and on her arms. She totally freaked out, lol! We’ve been several times since, and she enjoys it much more now. Thank goodness, because I love visiting the conservatory and seeing all of the butterflies – it’s the perfect way to usher in Springtime!

These are all great ideas. We go on walks at night as a family, and I always draw a little checklist of things for my daughter to find. SHe carries around a clipboard and marker. It’s so fun! Our pool opens soon so I know that’ll soon be a daily activity. Nice weather just gives you so many options.

This is great. My favorite thing to do in Spring is get my kiddos outside and just enjoy the fresh air with them. We don’t get out much in the winter so this is the best time in my opinion. Not too hot and not too cold! Perfect.

My favorite thing to do in Spring is to find a nice spot to read outside. We have a lovely magnolia tree in our yard that serves as a prime spot.

I like everything on your spring bucket list. I have been buying fresh veggies at our local farmers market – my meals look colorful and are nutritious as well. We are planning to visit some local gardens too. Spring is my most favorite time of the year!

You read my mind about the outdoor space!! Every spring we need to do a major cleanup on of our backyard! Now that the kids are always outside, I’ve also realized that they need more toys to play with!
