Spring Break Chicagoland Staycation

Here are some Spring Break Chicagoland Staycation activities that are so awesome you won’t mind that you didn’t board a plane.

The best part is that your kid can have supervised fun playing in the sand while you get pampered. 🙂

Hi! I read your guest blog about indoor activities so I came to check out your blog – and I love it 🙂 I am doing a post where some mom bloggers will recommend their favorite indoor activities with their kids. Would you like to participate? 🙂

Here in Ft. Lauderdale, it’s spring break all year round! I feel so lucky to have so many local things to do, seeing as I grew up in New Hampshire. I see no reason to travel far from home when I have everything awesome that I need right here 🙂

The waterparks are a great place to start….just be sure to dress warmly for the rest of your adventures. Spring is still pretty chilly in Chicago!

Speaking of Chicago! I have a 9 hour layover in the chicago airport coming up next month. Hoping to maybe venture out in the city – we’ll see though.

Using public transit it would only take you 45 minutes to get into “the loop” (the heart of the city) to O’Hare or Midway airports….definitely take advantage of it!

Yes, we are spoiled with the amount of fun things we can do. It makes up for the awful winter weather!

These are some great things to do for staying home for spring break indeed. I love staycations and always do them each year due to money situation. You don’t have all the head ache of packing, traveling far, etc. and it is so much cheaper indeed. Thanks for sharing.

I feel like staycations also make you fall in love all over again with your city. At least that’s what it is like for me and Chicago!

We’re in Michigan and I love to go over to Chicago. I’d def. be happy to go there for Spring Break. 🙂

We are just happy that spring is making an appearance around here! The south is not equipped to deal with long, eventful winters. We plan to spend the start of our spring break at an indoor water park.
