Wow, there is a ton of stuff to do there. I have always wanted to visit Chicago, so hopefully we will get there sometime in the near future.

It’s great that there are so many things to do for families and for free in the Chicago area. I’ve always heard Barnes and Noble mentioned in films, I’d love to check it out for myself.

  3. Danielle K says

This is great list of places to go. We were hoping to make a trip to Chicago with our son soon so we’ll have to visit a lot of these places.

Lots to do in Chicago! I’ve never been but my sister has and loved it. She was lucky and went to a free taping of Oprah. I’ve been jealous since!

Wow! It looks like there’s so many fun activities to do in Chicago! I love that they are all free activities too! Thanks for sharing!! I hope to visit Chicago one day!!

These look like so much fun! We are trying to do some more traveling and tying in homeschooling while we do. This sounds like something we would all love and the girls would get some lessons in at the same time.

  7. Jade says

We would go to the zoo and the bookstore. Of course, the little guy would want to go to the aquarium and the Lego store, too.

Thank you for sharing your Chicagoland resources! I love Chicago and I have been there a few times. I remember the first visit, my BFF and I went to all the places that was featured in the movie ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding’, except for the ballpark. It was an awesome trip!

Ha, that sounds like a fun way to approach Chicago. Another great movie to relive is “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”
