We Chicagoans are so incredibly lucky to have so many stellar, state-of-the-art museums at our disposal and it is an absolute CRIME if you don’t get out there and enjoy them. Is your budget holding you back? Then keep this list of Free Chicago Museum Days for Fall 2019 handy. September is a month of deep discounts and since the Bears keep having their schedule flexed, that means that you can spend a leisurely Sunday hanging with belugas, critiquing impressionists, or simply tinkering with your kiddos. Lastly, keep in mind that you need to show proof of valid Illinois residency in order to receive free admission and that extra exhibits are an additional fee.
