Chicagoland Touch a Truck Events for 2019

The snow is melting, the days are growing longer…that means ONE thing: the beginning of Touch a Truck season! This is the best time to be a kid (or a kid at heart) because there are so many FREE opportunities to get up close and personal with street sweepers, back hoes, fire trucks…just about every big rig you can think of.  This list is constantly growing, so be sure to check back and see the most comprehensive listing of Chicagoland Touch a Truck events in 2019!

Glen Ellyn “Touch a Truck”, May 4th

College of Du Page Food Truck Rally & Sunset 5K, October 5th

2 p.m. – 7 p.m. 

And don’t forget that if you want to see some John Deere rigs in action, head to the Quad Cities!

If you are planning on visiting a Touch-a-Truck event, don’t forget your camera, hand wipes (because you know…all of the touching), and noise cancelling ear/head phones if your child is sensitive to noises.

    What a fun activity. I love things like this that let kids explore and learn about new things! Climbing tires would be my kids favorite!
