Living off of Cape Cod, I take it for granted sometimes that I have have literally hundreds of beaches within driving distance of my house. This is a great resource for people in Chicago.

  2. Courtney Pies says

My family and I are actually headed to Chicago in 2 days! I am going to be visiting some of these sites to figure out which beach we’re going to and will be using the Park Whiz app! Thanks so much!

So many beach options! I would never think of the beach when thinking of Chicago! I always forget that it’s on a lake lol

  4. Nicci says

I remember going to the beach in Chicago with my husband. I never knew something like that existed in such a large town. And the lake was beautiful.

I used to purposely drive home on lake shore drive with a longer commute just so I could see the water.

  5. Kristen says

I grew up in Wheaton, so I actually went to the beach in Naperville all the time! Also, there is nothing quite like driving by the beach in Chicago on a summer day!
