Best Shower Venues in Chicagoland

It’s shower season in Chicagoland…and I’m not talking about the weather. From brides to babies, there is always someone to celebrate. The only question is WHERE you should throw your shower. Because let’s get real…venues are VERY expensive and you want to get the biggest bang for your buck while treating your friends and family to an elegant event. And since you aren’t the first person in Chicagoland to get married or have a baby, you want to find a venue that can be uniquely personalized to fit your one of a kind moment.

I’ve done a TON of research and leg work on this topic, from sitting through hundreds of showers (heeey, Irish Catholic family!) myself, as well as asking friends, colleagues, and readers about their favorite party venues and this list is filled with top notch shower venues across Chicagoland. You will find delicious food, plentiful drink, helpful restaurant staff (some even have their own event planners), a beautiful space, and above all, businesses that know what they are doing and will bend over backwards to make your event a memorable one—in  a good way, I promise!

Be sure to do your research and find the option that works best for you, and keep in mind the following questions before you book your shower venue:

What is included in your party packages?

How many staff members will be helping us during the event?

How much flexibility do you have with the menu? (ie, dietary restrictions)

What are you allowed to bring in? (ie, cake, flowers, decorations, etc.)

What is the space capacity?

What is the cancellation policy?

How early can you set up?

Who takes care of clean up?

What is the parking situation like?

Oh, and if you are looking for birthday party venues for your kids, whether big or small, I’ve got you covered!

Enjoy your event!

You have just saved a life with this amazing list. Anyone looking for a shower venue must land here and all the questions will be answered. I chuckled at you mentioning how you know what is worth and what is not because of your huge Catholic Irish family lol

With a HUGE family, showers at home just aren’t an option for people like me so I’m thrilled there are other venues like these around!

Trust me, I am also thrifty, but with 50 people to invite, I couldn’t host showers in my home. I think my story is the same for many other Chicagoans which is why they look for lists of venues.

I have never planned a shower of any sort in Chicago but I love that this list is out there! This could be a great resource to someone local!! Love it!
