Best Kids’ Menus in Chicagoland

Move over, chicken nuggets and French fries. There are so many more delicious options for kids to enjoy while dining out as a family. From paella to the most delicious brunch spread you have ever seen, here are five of the best kids’ menus in Chicagoland.

Gale Street Inn, Chicago

This cozy restaurant is known for their amazing ribs (they truly are finger lickin’ good), and kids can enjoy their own ribs on the menu. Other options include spaghetti and grilled chicken with veggies. And each kids’ meal includes an ice cream sundae. I mean, does it get any better than that?

Eataly, Chicago

Thrill your Italian food lovers by taking a trip to Eataly Chicago. Not only can  you browse the multiple levels of Italian goods, but you can also enjoy a fun and interactive kids’ menu at their casual restaurant, La Pizza & La Pasta. Read all about my boys’ fun time eating (and of course we didn’t forget about the gelato and Nutella bars) at Eataly here.

Café Ba Ba Reeba, Chicago

There is nothing that I don’t love about Café Ba Ba Reeba…the sangria, the creative tapas dishes, the ambiance…I can go on and on. But as a mom, I have fallen in love with something new: their kids’ menu. They use the same delicious flavors and care in preparing dishes for the little ones, including paella, grilled steak and chicken, and pasta. Additionally there is a complementary appetizer of carrots and hummus and dessert of apple and grape kabob. Reservations for both dinner and brunch are recommended.

Weber Grill, Various Chicagoland locations

The Weber Grill obviously specializes in grilling food, so be sure to encourage your kids to include in a steak skewer, ribs, grilled chicken, as well as their plentiful and tasty side dishes of fruit, veggies, tater tots and a cookie. Reservations are recommended.

Frasca Pizzeria and Wine Bar, Chicago

Frasca is one of my favorite places to eat with kids because of their free kids’ meals for dinner, but have you taken advantage of their delicious brunch as well? Kids can choose from traditional breakfast fare such as eggs or pancakes, or indulge in pizza, salad, grilled cheese, and more. All kids’ meals include a drink, fruit, and ice cream. Reservations are recommended on weekends.

That pizza in that picture looks absolutely outstanding. This will make me want to go to Chicago just for that reason alone. Chicago has so many things to explore it’s a great city to check out a bunch of things.

I remember the first time I visited Chicago with my friends I told them we can do anything but we HAVE to have the famous deep dish pizza! Haha! We did and we all loved it! Thanks for sharing your list of places to visit!

If I ever get to visit Chicago I’ll have to take the kids to some of these restaurants. I can only imagine how delicious everything would taste to them and I’d have to try some myself.

These are great tips. I’m bookmarking this for our next trip to Chicago. Love going there. Deciding where to eat with the girls can be stressful though.

Too many great choices in Chicago but there are much less places that have great kids menu. Hope you save this post for the future.

This list is fantastic! I cannot stand the typical chicken tender and mac % cheese selections you find everywhere because my kids always want whatever is on my plate anyway. We have a Pinstripes in the cities and I’ve never been. Now I know I can take the kids with!

I visited Chicago before and had a great time. I would love to return. If so, I will need to check out some of your suggestions. That pizza looks amazing!

This is great! I love when a restaurant is kid foodie friendly. My daughter eat what I eat so most of the time she’s ordering from the regular menu and she’s eight!

These all sound like great places for kids menus in Chicagoland. Gale Street Inn is where I would go first with the ribs and I love the kids can get their own ribs too. Thanks for sharing the list.
