“Animal Secrets” at Kohl Children’s Museum GIVEAWAY

I can’t be the only one who sometimes thinks that her kids are acting like wild animals, right? Well, lucky for us, the Kohl Children’s Museum has created a brand new exhibit that encourages kids of all ages and abilities to get wild with their parents approval. It is the perfect way to learn all about the secret lives of nature’s forest animals and have fun all at once. Here’s what you need to know about the “Animal Secrets” Exhibit at the Kohl Children’s Museum:

Imaginations will run wild through role play and hands on activities that are designed to portray naturalistic environments of forest animals (Woods, Cave, Meadow, and the Naturalist’s Tent).

Visitors can take on the role of animals, curling up in a larger than life eagle’s nest, crawling through tree roots…and when they want to slow down, there are animal tracks to study and nature themed puzzles to construct.

All of the senses are engaged through the multifaceted “Animal Secrets” exhibit through beautiful painted murals, the sounds of real forest animals, the feel of real animal skulls, etc.

The “Animal Secrets” exhibit promotes natural curiosity of the world around us, and many of the things that are studied in the temporary exhibit can be transferred to the exploration and discovery that takes place in the outdoor “Habitat Park” exhibit.

There is something for everyone to learn and explore, no matter the age or ability. The “Animal Secrets” exhibit is geared for children from birth to age 8 and can be fully enjoyed by both English and Spanish speakers.

The exhibit will reside at the Kohl Children’s Museum until December 30th. Be sure to explore “Animal Secrets” along with the other 17 interactive exhibits the next time you visit the Kohl Children’s Museum.

And as a special “thank you” to my readers, I am giving away a family four pack to the Kohl Children’s Museum! Simply comment on this post with what you are most looking forward to learning about as part of the “Animal Secrets” exhibit (Woods, Cave, Meadow, Naturalist’s Tent) to be entered. The contest is open until November 3rd at 7 p.m. CST and the winner will be contacted via email. Good luck!

Happy Exploring!
