3 Ways to Style a Fall Floral Look

Move over, flannel, there’s a new Fall print in style. What is the trend I am talking about? FLORALS. Fall florals, specifically. Whether you dress it down with denim or boots or dress it up with killer accessories and a pointed heel, florals are IN this season and there are so many great options to choose from. Here are three ways to style a Fall floral look.

Now before you get too far into the article, let me remind you that I am NOT a fashion blogger at all. I’m a mom who simply wants to look put together and stylish with as little effort as possible. And since I basically live at Target, you can find most of my favorite Fall florals there. The styles are on-trend and at a low price point so you can still go nuts buying all of the Hearth and Hand with Magnolia fall décor (don’t feel bad—we all fall victim to it).

Fall Florals with Denim

A classic look that is flattering on just about everyone is the combination of a floral dress with denim. Whether you choose a short and sassy dress style like these or a maxi dress, I recommend finishing your look with a mid to dark denim jacket.

Not a fan of dresses? Then mix a floral print blouse with dark denim pants and tall boots for a timeless, put together look.

Mustard with Fall Florals

While I might hate it on my hot dog (sorry, Chicago), I absolutely LOVE combining mustard with florals. Why? Because mustard is a warm fall tone that is flattering on all different types of skin tones and naturally blends with just about any floral pattern out there.

Even better? When you can find florals with a mustard background like these dresses and skirts.

Textured Accessories with Fall Florals

Floral patterns get an extra boost when paired with textured accessories. To avoid overwhelming the eye, stick with smaller, simpler floral patterns if you are going with a loud, textured element like a fall hat or chunky knit sweater. For bold and bright floral prints, stick with subdued textural elements, like a straw bag or textured booties.

Don’t be afraid to go with a major textural element either, such as faux leather leggingsa skirtor a moto jacket.  It gives the perfect amount of edge to florals in order to create an outfit that really pops. And if you are rocking a floral jumpsuit, keep your accessories minimal since a floral jumpsuit can stand as a complete outfit.
